Heritage Estate Wines

Sun and surf, we love you. So why do we morph into crazed Anglophiles who pine after hedged lanes, crisp falling leaves and billowing chimneys? Your shrink would call that a doozie, we would call it high time you drove up the mountain for an olde worlde fix at Heritage Estate Wines.

After a stroll on the grounds, warm your newly found rosy cheeks with tastings of award-winning wines at the Cellar Door. It’s also a great place to dine with hinterland views, proving there’s more to Tamborine sightseeing than a dangerous proliferation of fudge.

Architecture buffs and spouses-to-be should definitely take a squiz at Burleigh’s Infant Saviour Church. Heritage saved this icon from demolition and hauled it up the mountain before adding recycled features like balustrades from the old Southport Bridge. Tamborine isn’t famous for tambourines, but it is famous for superior Queensland wines and a breath of fresh air (literally).
